Thanks for stopping by. I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and what brought me to design this site.

I'm a native Rhode Islander, I grew up in North Providence and was always fascinated with the outdoors and nature. That fascination lead me into scouting.  In the late 1980's I was introduced to hunting by some close friends (Paul, Tom and Dean). Since then I've been hooked, I don't get out like I used to, but I still get out there. The friendships that I have made over the years will last me a lifetime.

In the fall of 2003 I launched www.RIHunts.com, a site for the hunters, trappers and anglers of Rhode Island and nearby Connecticut and Massachusetts.  The site was well received and was and is a great success.  With the ongoing success of RIHunts, I though that I could bring the same to the folks of New England and New York.  So I went ahead with the development of the site you're are now!  I truly want this site to a genuine resource for us.

Please use this site to it's fullest. If there's something that's missing here please let me know and I'll do my best to get it incorporated into the site, I welcome your thoughts and ideas.
